Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This Refund Policy explains the circumstances in which Dight International Chambers ("we", "us", or "our") may provide refunds for payments made through this Website, including membership fees, donations, event registrations, or other services offered under the Rojgar Sudhar initiative and our other programs. This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. This is general template content provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice; we recommend professional legal review to ensure it is suited to your specific circumstances and complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
Eligibility for refunds
Refunds, where applicable, may be considered in the following circumstances: a duplicate or erroneous payment was made; a technical error on our Website resulted in an incorrect charge; an event, programme, or service for which payment was made is cancelled or substantially altered by us; or a refund is otherwise required under applicable Indian law. Donations made voluntarily in support of the Rojgar Sudhar initiative are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where a genuine processing error has occurred.
Refund process and changes to this Policy
To request a refund, please email us at contact@dightinternational.org within 7 days of the transaction, with your name, transaction date, payment reference or receipt, and the reason for your request. We will review each request and aim to respond within 7-10 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment within a reasonable time, generally up to 14 business days, subject to the processing timelines of the relevant bank or payment gateway. We reserve the right to decline requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria above. We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020; the updated Policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. This Policy is governed by the laws of India.
